Job summary

Maximus is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support the DISA CESO program in Rosslyn, VA. The role focuses on cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, automation, DevSecOps integration, and system reliability across classified and unclassified environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong AWS engineering expertise and hands-on experience with cloud automation tools, delivering secure, highly available enterprise cloud solutions for mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Experience designing, implementing and operating secure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with DevSecOps integration and automation.

Job description

Maximus is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) program in Rosslyn, VA. The AWS Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing secure cloud infrastructure supporting mission‑critical Department of Defense operations. This role will focus on cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, automation, DevSecOps integration, and system reliability across classified and unclassified environments.

The ideal candidate possesses strong AWS engineering expertise, hands‑on experience with cloud automation tools, and a proven ability to support highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise cloud solutions.

This role is on‑site, five days a week and requires an active TS/SCI security clearance.
