Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect – Networking & Observability to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure AWS networking, monitoring, logging, and observability across multi-account and multi-region environments.

You will lead efforts in VPC design, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, PrivateLink, and advanced logging with CloudWatch, X-Ray, and CloudTrail, while ensuring compliance and CI/CD-driven deployment. Remote/work options available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

8-10+ years of IT experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and networking expertise.
Hands-on experience designing enterprise-scale AWS networking solutions.
Strong knowledge of DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, hybrid connectivity, and network segmentation.
Experience building and managing enterprise observability and logging platforms.
Experience with PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, and CIS compliance.
Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Design multi-VPC architectures with optimized CIDR allocation across AWS accounts and regions.
Implement hub-and-spoke architectures using AWS Transit Gateway and Cloud WAN with route segmentation and propagation controls.
Configure hybrid connectivity using AWS Direct Connect (Private VIFs, LAGs) and VPN failover solutions.
Engineer highly available NAT Gateway and egress routing architectures.
Implement AWS PrivateLink and Network Firewall for secure connectivity and traffic inspection.
Build centralized observability and logging across multi-region environments.
