Job summary

ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION LLC is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect / Senior Developer to migrate Java/J2EE applications to the cloud. You will own modernization efforts, re-architect for cloud-native features, and improve scalability and performance while minimizing disruption.

Lead migration planning, design reference architectures for legacy apps, and select AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, API Gateway, Lambda).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
5+ years of hands-on experience migrating applications onto the AWS platform.
Strong Java programming skills and experience with J2EE frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and JSF.
Solid understanding of AWS architecture and cloud computing concepts.
Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.

Responsibilities

Lead cloud architecture and migration, designing a plan and refinement.
Architect and design reference architecture to help Legacy JAVA/J2EE teams migrate to cloud.
Migrate and modernize Java code to integrate with AWS services and consider microservices.
