Overview

Client is seeking a dynamic Senior AI Engineer with strong consultative skills. The role is hands-on and focused on developing advanced deep learning models for real-world AI and NLP initiatives. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be at the forefront of research and development, focusing on the design and implementation of AI applications and fine-tuning of LLM models.

Responsibilities

1. Optimize models for embedded hardware or scale model parallelization on servers.
2. Utilize AWS AI services, such as Bedrock, and LLMs like Claude 3 Sonnet, LLaMa, etc., to build intelligent, scalable applications.
3. Develop and maintain NLP pipelines for risk assessment, threat classification, named entity recognition, information retrieval, summarization, etc.
4. Collaborate with Data Science, Cloud Engineering, and Applications Development teams to align on project goals and technical requirements.
5. Apply comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with fine-tuning approaches and training models.
6. Lead and contribute to designing NLP models and algorithms that can scale across diverse languages and dialects, considering linguistic variations and complexities.
7. Perform data preprocessing of structured and unstructured data sources for model serving.
8. Maintain outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with internal teams and present solutions to clients.

Technical Requirements

1. 3-5 years of experience in writing and deploying production-quality AI models.
2. Strong experience with AWS services including Bedrock, S3, Lambda, SageMaker.
3. Hands-on experience with deep learning networks.
4. In-depth knowledge of NLP, especially Large Language Models (LLMs) and Transformer architectures.
5. Experience with Amazon Bedrock and foundational LLMs like Claude 3 Sonnet, GPT, LLAMA, etc.
6. Knowledge of model adaptation techniques such as RAG, fine-tuning, LoRA, feature engineering.
7. Proficiency in NLP techniques, including tokenization, language modeling, and embeddings.
8. Experience in data preprocessing for both structured and unstructured data.
9. Expertise in model fine-tuning and performance evaluation.
10. Experience developing Gen AI applications using LangChain or LlamaIndex is preferred.
11. Familiarity with database management systems like Pinecone, Weaviate DB, vector search algorithms, and LLM embedding layers is preferred.

Additional Information

Published research in NLP is highly desirable but not required, demonstrating the ability to contribute to cutting-edge research.
