Job summary

Cowlitz River Dental is seeking an Associate General Dentist to join our practice in Washington State. You will perform the full scope of general dentistry, including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, and extractions, while building trusted patient relationships.

You’ll work with a supportive team, stay current with new techniques, and contribute to a practice that values balance and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• A valid Washington State dental license (or eligibility).
• Solid clinical experience across general dentistry.
• Compassionate, clear communication with patients.
• Collaborative, team-oriented attitude with staff and doctors.
• Strong understanding of infection control and HIPAA regulations.
• Pediatric dentistry experience is a nice bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics.
• Build relationships with patients through thorough exams and personalized treatment planning.
• Deliver full scope of general dentistry with advanced procedures as needed.
• Explain diagnoses and options in understandable terms.
• Work four-handed with a team to maintain efficiency and comfort.
• Document care in the practice management system (EagleSoft).
• Stay current by learning new techniques and technologies.

• This isn’t a hygiene-check-and-move-on kind of role. We practice comprehensive, high-quality general dentistry, and you’ll get to use the full range of your training.
• Building real relationships with patients through thorough exams and personalized treatment planning
• A full scope of general dentistry: exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics
• More advanced procedures too — extractions, root canals, implants, oral surgery, and orthodontics
• Explaining diagnoses and options in a way patients actually understand and feel good about
• Working four-handed with a team that knows how to keep things efficient and comfortable
• Documenting care in EagleSoft
• Staying sharp and current — we support you learning new techniques and technology

What We’re Looking For

• A valid Washington State dental license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Solid clinical experience and confidence across basic general dentistry
• Genuine, compassionate communication skills — patients should leave feeling informed and cared for.
• Collaborative, team-oriented attitude when it comes to working with other Doctors and Staff
• A sound understanding of infection control, HIPAA, and Washington State healthcare regulations
• Pediatric dentistry experience is a nice bonus
