Open Sky Community Services is seeking an Awake Overnight Counselor in Worcester, MA to provide guidance, supervision, and support during overnight hours. You will assist individuals with morning routines and daily living activities while promoting health, safety, and independence.

The Awake Overnight Counselor provides guidance, supervision, and support during overnight hours while assisting individuals with morning routines and daily living activities. By implementing procedures that promote health, safety, well-being, and a clean and safe environment, counselors help ensure individuals are supported in living healthy, productive, and independent lives. Counselors are strong advocates for the people they serve, believe in the power of community, and recognize the importance of meaningful community inclusion and engagement.

Other Key Responsibilities

• Utilize crisis intervention techniques and follow established program and agency procedures to respond effectively during emergency or crisis situations.
• Implement individuals' health, medical, and medication protocols in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and coordinating travel needs, as required.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
