Open Sky Community Services is seeking an Awake Overnight Counselor to provide guidance, supervision, and support during overnight hours, assisting with morning routines and daily living activities. You will promote health and safety, maintain a clean environment, and advocate for community inclusion.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, strong teamwork, and responsiveness to crises, with opportunities for differential hourly rates based on location and duties.

Formación

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record is required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

• Utilize crisis intervention techniques and follow agency procedures during emergencies.
• Implement health, medical, and medication protocols per policies and regulations.
• Assist individuals with transportation needs and coordinating travel.
• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in a timely, accurate manner.

The Awake Overnight Counselor provides guidance, supervision, and support during overnight hours while assisting individuals with morning routines and daily living activities. By implementing procedures that promote health, safety, well-being, and a clean and safe environment, counselors help ensure individuals are supported in living healthy, productive, and independent lives. Counselors are strong advocates for the people they serve, believe in the power of community, and recognize the importance of meaningful community inclusion and engagement.

Other Key Responsibilities

• Utilize crisis intervention techniques and follow established program and agency procedures to respond effectively during emergency or crisis situations.


• Implement individuals' health, medical, and medication protocols in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulations.


• Assist individuals with accessing transportation and coordinating travel needs, as required.


• Review, complete, and maintain all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

The organization recognizes skills, location, training, and program responsibilities by offering additional hourly differentials for certain positions. Ask your recruiter if this position qualifies for an additional hourly differential.
