CSC ServiceWorks is seeking a Lead Appliance Install Driver in the Columbia, SC area to actively deliver and install laundry equipment and ancillary technology on an assigned route. You will guide others through complex installations and ensure high-quality service at client locations.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOT readiness, and physical stamina to lift up to 75 pounds. Training and year-round work are included in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Must be 21+ years old (DOT).
• Experience in appliance repair preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install laundry equipment to homes and client locations.
• Install ancillary technology (card readers, digital enhancements).
• Operate a box truck to deliver, pick up, or service machines.
• Prepare equipment for delivery and loading.
• Instruct customers on safe operation of equipment.
• Lead Installers manage inventory and perform parts replenishment.
• Teach others to resolve installation issues.
• Audit warehouse prep activities.

Overview

Lead Appliance Install Driver Monday - Friday

Service Area:

This is no desk job. As a CSC Lead Appliance Install Driveryour days will be active, delivering residential and/or commercial laundry equipment, commercial air equipment, and ancillary commercial technology products using a company truck and completing installation upon delivery on assigned route. Guides others through complex installations.

A Day in the Life of a Lead Installation Technician:

• Deliver and Install laundry equipment to customer's homes and client locations
• Deliver and Install ancillary technology (card readers, digital enhancements)
• Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, or repair/replace washers, dryers and/or air machines
• Prepare equipment for delivery (assemble required parts prior to loading on trucks)
• Instruct customers and/or clients how to operate equipment in a safe and effective manner
• Staying physically active loading and unloading your company truck using a 2-wheeled hand cart for support, ease and safety.
• Lead Installers will proactively manage inventory. Execute regular parts replenishment based on guidelines and knowledge of route.
• Teach others to resolve delivery and installation issues
• Audit warehouse preparation activities of other Installers

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
• Must be 21 years of age (DOT state requirement).
• Previous experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle and maneuver heavy appliances.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
• Must be able to lift to 75 pounds and will frequently work in a variety of environmental conditions (both weather and non-weather related).
