Job summary

AVS Bio is hiring a Crew Worker in Roanoke, IL for direct hire. The role supports vaccine and biologics operations with hands-on farm duties, including house recycling, equipment repair, and flock management.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, earn $23.50 per hour, and benefit from company-wide programs such as 401(k) with company match, paid vacations and holidays, and medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Basic maintenance skills and experience; basic carpentry skills and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform house recycles including disassemble houses and related equipment, washing, repairing, sanitizing and reassembling of houses.
  • Perform minor equipment repair.
  • Assist with flock removal and moving birds.
  • Perform other farm related activities.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

(High if using pressure washer or power tools)Working in hot or cold environmental temps.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
