Job summary

Cathay Bank seeks an AVP, Treasury Management Product Management Officer (Education) to assist in planning and executing consumer and commercial deposit and fee-based products throughout the lifecycle.

The role involves gathering requirements, defining product vision, and partnering with IT, Sales, Marketing and Operations to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals in a dynamic banking environment.

Qualifications

• College degree in Finance, Marketing, or business-related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum three years of banking experience; five years preferred.
• At least 2 years in Product Development or Product Management.
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
• Analytical, research ability, and attention to detail.
• Good time management and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist product managers with defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap.
• Own all elements around subject matter product including service-related challenges.
• Assess design, financial feasibility, and operational impact of product offerings.
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates products.
• Track product deficiencies and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain logs of all product issues with discovery and resolution dates.
• Lead idea generation for new products and product marketing.
• Assist with policy language in partnership with Operations, Compliance, and Audit.
• Provide product training to frontline team members.
• Assist in presenting to Executive Management.
