Job summary

Social Capital Resources seeks an Equity Analyst to join its U.S. Equity team in New York, focusing on the Information Technology sector.

You will conduct bottom-up research on U.S. technology companies, build financial models, analyze earnings and SEC filings, and develop investment theses. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills and familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, and data tools; CFA progress is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong background in fundamental equity research and U.S. public equities.
• Expertise in financial modeling, earnings estimates, and valuation.
• CFA progress/designation and Python/SQL are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental, bottom-up research on U.S. technology companies.
• Build and maintain financial models, earnings estimates, and valuation analyses.
• Analyze earnings, SEC filings, company disclosures, and industry developments.
• Develop investment theses, valuation targets, and stock recommendations.
• Identify new investment opportunities and provide actionable insights to portfolio managers.
• Prepare research and investment materials and communicate sector developments to investment teams.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers across U.S. and international teams.
