Job summary

SitusAMC in Dover, Delaware seeks an AVP, Talent & Leadership Development to lead the design, delivery, and execution of leadership and talent development programs that strengthen leadership capability and accelerate readiness.

This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, leveraging data, AI-powered tools, and learning technologies to create personalized experiences that drive measurable business outcomes. Travel ~10% may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Adult Education, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 10+ years in leadership development, talent management, or related.
  • Experience leading a team and enterprise-wide talent initiatives.
  • Experience designing and facilitating long-term leadership and professional development programs.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using talent data to measure impact and guide decisions.
  • Experience with Workday or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with learning design technologies such as Articulate 360, Canva, Vyond, Camtasia.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and geographies.
  • US Based and able to work CT or ET hours.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Talent Management to design and deliver leadership programs across the organization.
  • Use skills data and insights to build development strategies for career growth and internal mobility.
  • Align business priorities with leadership and talent programs.
  • Design blended, personalized learning experiences using AI-enabled tools.
  • Consult with leaders and HR to address capability gaps with practical solutions.
  • Coach HR partners and facilitators to expand program reach and ensure consistent experiences.
  • Partner with external providers for assessments and coaching solutions.
  • Measure program impact using data and feedback to demonstrate business value.
  • Develop leadership-facing presentations and talent insights showing outcomes.
  • Stay current on leadership and learning trends to drive innovation.
  • Support succession planning, career development, and performance enablement.
  • Travel ~10% may be required.

The AVP, Talent & Leadership Development will lead the design, delivery and execution of leadership and talent development programs that strengthen leadership capability, accelerate talent readiness, and support business performance.

As a key member of the Global Talent Management Center of Excellence (CoE), this role collaborates with senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and Talent Management colleagues to create and scale impactful learning experiences that help leaders grow and succeed at every stage of their careers.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. This role is equally comfortable facilitating leadership experiences, leveraging data and insights, exploring emerging technologies, and using AI-powered solutions to create personalized and impactful development experiences. This individual is energized by creating impactful learning experiences, leveraging learning technology, and driving measurable business outcomes through talent development. While leadership development will be the primary focus, the role will also contribute to broader talent initiatives, including succession planning, high-potential development, career growth, talent reviews, performance enablement, and organizational capability building.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with Talent Management peers in the design and delivery of leadership development programs and learning experiences across the organization
  • Leverage skills-intelligence, workforce data, and talent insights to build skills-based development strategies that support career development, internal mobility, and provide growth experiences for high-potential talent and leaders at all levels.
  • Connect business priorities, workforce trends, and talent insights to leadership and talent development programs.
  • Leverage modern learning technologies, AI-enabled tools, and skills-based talent practices to design and deliver blended, engaging, personalized learning experiences that help leaders grow and apply new skills on the job.
  • Consult with business leaders, HR partners, and key stakeholders to identify capability gaps and design practical talent and leadership development solutions that address business needs.
  • Coach and support HR partners, subject matter experts, and internal facilitators to expand program reach, strengthen adoption, and ensure consistent learner experiences.
  • Partner with external providers and vendors to deliver high-quality leadership assessments (360s), coaching solutions, and development experiences.
  • Measure, evaluate, and continuously improve development programs using data, feedback, and insights to strengthen leadership capability and demonstrate business impact.
  • Develop leadership-facing presentations and talent insights that demonstrate program effectiveness, talent outcomes, and business impact.
  • Stay current on leadership, talent, and learning trends to bring innovative practices to the organization.
  • Support Talent Management initiatives including succession planning, career development, performance enablement, and employee engagement.
  • Some travel (~10%) may be expected in the future

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Human Resources, Adult Education, Organizational Development, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in leadership development, talent management, learning and development, organizational development, or related disciplines
  • Experience leading a team and enterprise-wide talent initiatives
  • Experience designing and facilitating comprehensive (6-12 month) leadership, hi-potential and professional development programs.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, consulting, stakeholder management skills
  • Experience using talent data and insights to measure program impact and inform decisions
  • Experience with Workday or comparable talent management and learning platforms
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experience with learning design technologies such as Articulate 360, Canva, Vyond, Camtasia, or similar tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams, functions, and geographies
  • US Based and work CT or ET hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within financial services, real estate, mortgage, consulting, or other highly regulated industries
  • Experience with leadership assessment tools such as Hogan, Korn Ferry, DISC, CliftonStrengths, Predictive Index, Culture Index, MBTI, or similar instruments
  • Experience with Workday Skills Cloud, Peakon Employee Voice, or AI enabled learning and talent technologies

The annual full time base salary range for this role is

$80,000.00 - $100,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
