Job summary

Ledgebrook is hiring an AVP, Specialty Pricing to shape pricing across Professional, Cyber, and Excess Liability. This remote role offers high impact, cross-functional collaboration with underwriting, product, data, and executive leadership.

You will build pricing infrastructure, develop predictive models, and mentor actuaries and data scientists in a fast-scaling environment.

Qualifications

• Strong actuarial pricing or insurance modeling experience within P&C insurance or reinsurance.
• Professional Liability, Cyber, Excess Liability, or E&S experience highly valued.
• Ability to communicate complex pricing concepts to underwriting and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance predictive pricing models using actuarial and machine learning techniques.
• Partner closely with underwriting teams to drive smarter, data-informed decisions.
• Work alongside AI/ML and data engineering teams to develop scalable pricing capabilities.
• Own technical pricing initiatives across specialty casualty and professional lines.
• Develop analytical tools, reporting, and portfolio insights.
• Help shape pricing strategy as the platform expands into new specialty products.
• Mentor and collaborate with other actuaries and data scientists.

We’re hiring an AVP, Specialty Pricing to help shape the future of pricing across our Professional, Cyber, and Excess Liability portfolios.

This is not a maintenance role.

This is a high-impact opportunity to help build pricing infrastructure, influence underwriting strategy, develop predictive models, and partner directly with underwriting, product, data, and executive leadership in a fast-scaling environment.

What You’ll Do

Compensation

• Base Salary Range $175,000-$195,000. This is a good-faith compensation range based on what Ledgebrook reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a variety of relevant factors including experience, qualifications, geographic location and other relevant factors.
• Employees in this position are eligible to participate in Ledgebrook’s equity incentive program.
