Qualifications

Join our team as we help shape the future. **AVP, Software Engineering Leader – Corporate Functions IT**The AVP, Software Engineering Leader for Corporate Functions IT is a critical leadership role responsible for the technology platforms that support The Hartford’s corporate functions, including Enterprise Risk, Legal, Human Resources, and Shared Services.Reporting directly to the CIO of Corporate Functions, this position requires a proven track record of leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives, balancing both business strategy and technology execution to deliver meaningful outcomes.The leader will oversee an organization of 50+ employees and vendor resources while serving as a strategic technology partner to executive leaders across the corporate functions landscape.The successful candidate will bring strong executive presence and the ability to collaborate across corporate functions to shape technology strategy, drive execution of complex initiatives, deliver innovative solutions, and ensure the effective management of critical technology platforms and processes.This role will have a Hybrid work schedule, with the expectation of working in Hartford, CT 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:$182,000 - $273,000
