Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Senior Production Support Engineer - AVP to ensure the smooth operation of production systems and deliver a high level of service to business users. You will apply software engineering principles to reduce toil and improve reliability.

You will drive stabilization projects, support business continuity, and lead risk and control activities in close collaboration with Build the Bank and stakeholders. This role is based in Whippany, NJ.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL, Unix and Windows in investment banking environments.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and configuration management tooling experience.
• Experience with Autosys, middleware, MQ and Solace messaging.
• Proficient in monitoring with AppDynamics and ITRS.
• Familiarity with front-office and trading applications.
• Knowledge of AWS services and SRE principles.
• Experience with observability tools for root-cause analysis.
