Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of sponsored research administration and post‑award financial management.
• Strong understanding of federal grant regulations and sponsor requirements.
• Ability to lead large, matrixed teams and complex initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, financial, operational, and communication skills.
• Experience with enterprise financial systems and grants reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and oversight for post‑award financial administration across the enterprise.
• Sets strategic direction, service delivery standards, and priorities for post‑award.
• Leads managers, analysts, accountants, and research staff supporting sponsored programs.
• Oversees financial management of sponsored awards including federal/state/foundation grants.
• Ensures awards are established, monitored, and closed per sponsor terms and policies.
• Directs invoicing, reporting, cash management, and financial reconciliation.
• Maintains internal controls to protect assets and reduce compliance risk.
• Leads audit preparation and sponsor reviews; coordinates corrective actions.
• Collaborates with investigators, finance, and operations for seamless administration.
