Job summary

McCormick & Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Global Tax, at its headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD. This high-visibility role leads the global tax function, shaping strategy, providing technical guidance, and partnering with Finance, Legal, and Operations to optimize global growth and risk management.

The AVP will drive leadership across the tax team, implement digital and data analytics enhancements, and ensure compliance across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred; CPA or JD mandatory; Master’s in Taxation (MST) or LL.M. highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global tax operations and strategic growth.
• Mentor and develop tax professionals.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain and HR to integrate tax considerations.
• Oversee ASC 740 provisions and maintain SOX controls.
• Manage global tax compliance across regions and leadersh.
