Job summary

Bank of China Limited, New York Branch seeks a Network Engineer to maintain and implement the bank's high-availability network infrastructure. You will execute projects (LAN/WAN, Internet, firewall, VPN), monitor operations, perform patches, and support incidents in line with security standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IT/CS, 4+ years in IT network infrastructure, 3+ years with switches/routers/firewalls, and familiarity with Cisco/Checkpoint/Juniper.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 4+ years in network engineering in IT infrastructure.
• 3+ years operating switches/routers/firewalls.
• 2+ years network infrastructure design.
• Hands-on with Cisco/Checkpoint/Juniper devices.
• Knowledge of BGP/OSPF/EIGRP and Layer 2 tech.
• CCNP preferred.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage network infrastructure projects (LAN/WAN, Internet, firewall, VPN).
• Perform daily operations: monitoring, backups, patching, upgrades.
• Provide incident resolution and technical support for network issues.
• Configure and maintain security devices and NAC systems.
• Maintain documentation: diagrams, records, manuals, CMDB.
