Nuveen is seeking an AVP, Compliance Advisor within Distribution Compliance (Americas) in Chicago to support the Chief Compliance Officer by managing day-to-day compliance operations for a registered broker-dealer and Canadian distribution entity.

You will advise partners on regulatory requirements, develop policies, perform risk assessments, monitor activities, administer licensing, and stay current on industry developments, with Series 7/24 prerequisites or plan to obtain within 120 days.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of regulatory compliance within financial services.
  • Experience with a distribution-oriented broker-dealer model.
  • Series 7 and Series 24 licenses required, or ability to obtain within 120 days.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Advise business partners on regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures supporting regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in regulatory risk assessments and implement remediation plans.
  • Execute monitoring activities, forensics, results, and remediation.
  • Administer licensing and registration for broker-dealer and Canadian entities.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and support audits and examinations.

AVP, Compliance Advisor (Distribution Compliance (Americas)The AVP, Distribution Compliance supports the Chief Compliance Officer in administering compliance programs for a registered broker-dealer and Canadian distribution entity. This role executes day-to-day compliance operations and advises the business on regulatory and compliance matters.
