Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

We’re seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Cognitive Engineering—a senior leader who will architect and execute the enterprise-wide strategy for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Cognitive Technologies. This pivotal role will lead the AI Center for Enablement, accelerating AI adoption, developing scalable platforms, and delivering measurable value across the enterprise.

What You'll Lead:

• Define and execute the strategic vision for Cognitive AI, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning.
• Drive the enterprise-wide AI transformation roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional business and technology teams.
• Oversee the development and scaling of an AI Foundational Platform, enabling secure, ethical, and explainable AI at scale.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify high-impact use cases and move them from idea to full-scale implementation.
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of cutting-edge technologies in LLMs, NLP, Generative AI, and Agentic systems.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with leading AI vendors, cloud providers, and consulting firms.
• Champion AI literacy programs to build awareness and engagement across all levels of the organization.
• Build and scale high-performing teams in AI Engineering and Operations, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and excellence.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive experience in AI, Data Science, and Advanced Analytics, including leadership of large-scale Generative and Agentic AI initiatives.
• Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and scaling AI solutions—including LLMs, Agentic AI, and prompt engineering—within cloud-native, production-grade environments.
• Deep understanding of AI governance, ethical AI, and explainability principles.
• Strong experience applying Scaled Agile principles to AI project delivery and roadmap execution.
