Job summary

LPL Financial LLC is seeking an AVP within Independent Advisor Services Relationship Management to lead advisor relationships, drive satisfaction, growth and retention, and partner with cross-functional teams. You will analyze advisor business needs, craft solutions, and act as the primary liaison between advisors and LPL.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in financial services, strong communication, and proven relationship management skills, with a focus on revenue growth and client service

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, preferable in sales, consulting and/or client service/relationship management.
  • 5+ years of experience and knowledge within the relevant client segment, organization, products, industry, and end-customer landscape.
  • Proven ability to develop solutions that help advisors grow their business and achieve goals.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of advisor objectives and impact on the organization.
  • Drive advisor satisfaction, revenue and asset growth, profitability; promote LPL services and products.
  • Support internal partners and programs through strategic connection and referrals.
  • Deliver regular reporting of client account status, activities, open items, wins, and concerns.
  • Embrace changing priorities to align advisor and firm expectations and drive informed decisions.
  • Document advisor activities and opportunities in Salesforce on a timely basis.

The Relationship Management team is responsible for satisfaction, growth and retention of LPL’s top advisors and offices. There will be an ongoing emphasis on managing, growing, and retaining his/her advisor relationships by using proven sales strategies and tactics with an emphasis on promoting the value, benefits, and features of LPL’s platform.By developing a thorough understanding of the advisors’ businesses, the AVP will be responsible for crafting effective solutions to assist them in developing their business goals and objectives. Additionally, the Success Manager will act as the primary point of contact between his/her advisors and LPL Financial. This role will combine relationship management skills, sales skills, project management skills and business analytics to fully understand and achieve business growth, retention, and satisfaction objectives.The Relationship Management division is accountable for advisor satisfaction and retention. There are multiple strategies, tactics and metrics the Relationship Management team utilizes to drive those two outcomes.Responsibilities:Develop a master understanding of the advisor, their business objectives and their impact on the organizationDrive overall advisor satisfaction, revenue and asset growth, profitability; introduce LPL Financial services and productsSupport internal partners and programs through strategic connection and referralsAssist the Business Development team with recruiting opportunities representing Relationship Management and the firmDeliver regular reporting of client account status, including activities, open items, notable wins, and any concerns.Embrace change and competing priorities to ensure both LPL’s and the advisor’s expectations are met; present complex topics for discussion across multiple functions and adeptly speak to multiple sides of issues in order to drive informed decision-makingUnderstand industry trends, products, platforms, resources and opportunitiesDemonstrate the highest levels of engagement and peer leadership within the teamManage attrition risk by proactively partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve high profile and complex situations.Conduct comprehensive annual Business Assessments and detailed reviews among key advisor relationshipsDocument advisor activities, business opportunities, communications in the Salesforce CRM on a timely basisDevelop a response plan to maintain or improve advisor satisfaction, overall sentiment and attrition riskUnderstand all areas related to the management of a successful practice including systems, technology, roles, responsibilities, marketing, sales process, product knowledge and financial planning with specific expertise in product & platform, advisor workflow, regulatory training and service and operationsWhat are we looking for?We want strong collaborators who can deliver a world-class client experience.
