Coda Saerch is partnering with a global asset manager to hire an AVP who will lead financial reporting, fund operations, and accounting oversight for complex credit vehicles in New Jersey. The role collaborates with investment professionals, operations, and external service providers to deliver accurate NAV and investor reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in fund accounting or Big 4, preferably within private credit, private equity, or alternative asset management.
• Strong understanding of investment accounting concepts, including accruals, fair value measurements, and waterfall calculations.
• Experience working with fund administrators and overseeing outsourced accounting functions.
• Familiarity with complex credit products (e.g., direct lending, distressed debt, structured credit) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for private credit funds, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of NAV reporting
• Review and analyze fund financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and partner capital allocations
• Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators, including review of deliverables and resolution of discrepancies
• Perform detailed reviews of investment activity, including loan originations, repayments, PIK interest, and fee income
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for complex credit instruments, including CLOs, structured products, and bespoke lending arrangements
• Support the preparation of investor reporting, including capital account statements and performance metrics
• Assist with quarterly valuations in collaboration with deal teams and valuation committees
• Coordinate and support the annual audit process, including preparation of supporting schedules and responding to auditor inquiries

Coda Saerch is partnering with a global alternative asset manager with $200 billion AUM with offices located in NJ. The team is seeking to hire an AVP will play a key role in the financial reporting, fund operations, and accounting oversight of complex credit vehicles, working closely with investment professionals, operations, and external service providers.

This is a high-visibility role within a premier platform investing across direct lending, opportunistic credit, and structured solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for private credit funds, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of NAV reporting
