Job summary

3G Productions in Las Vegas is seeking an AVL Design Engineer to design and develop professional audio, video, and lighting systems for permanent installations. You will collaborate with Sales, PM, CAD, and Field Ops to meet requirements and project specs.

The role covers system design, equipment selection, documentation, and engineering support from concept to completion, ensuring quality and proper deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in a professional AV engineering or design role.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems: audio, video, lighting, control.
• Experience interpreting drawings and designing AV systems.
• Understanding of DSP, networking, and AV workflows.
• Familiarity with CAD tools like Vectorworks and related diagrams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design professional AV systems for permanent installations.
• Develop BOMs, labor estimates, and project documentation.
• Create system signal flows, racks, and layouts with CAD.
• Collaborate with CAD, Sales, PM, and Field Ops across projects.
• Provide technical guidance for proposals, budgeting, and service.
• Support Q-SYS programming and integrated technology solutions.
• Ensure designs meet standards, client needs, and quality goals.
