Intone Inc. is seeking an Avionics Verification Engineer for a 12-month contract position based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role focuses on design, requirements, validation, and verification tasks for MH-60M and MH-47G cockpit avionics in support of US Army SOA programs.

Responsibilities include on-site testing, cross-functional teamwork with external customers and internal engineering teams, and use of TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, and Microsoft tools. Prior military avionics experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in avionics systems engineering.
• STEM degree.
• Knowledge of data buses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429).

Responsabilités

• Perform design, requirements, validation, and verification tasks for MH-60M and MH-47G cockpit avionics systems.
• Execute platform systems-specific, on-site requirements-based testing, robustness testing, and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment.
• Support cross-functional team development with external customer stakeholders and internal software and hardware engineering teams across different CAAS builds.
• Utilize engineering tools including TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft products, SVN, and others.
• Investigate Collins Aerospace lab hardware and environments, including integration investigations of interfaces between Collins Aerospace equipment and government-furnished equipment.

We are seeking an Avionics Verification Engineer for a 12-month contract position based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In this role, you will perform design, requirements, validation, and verification tasks supporting MH-60M and MH-47G cockpit avionics for the US Army Special Operations Aviation (SOA) programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform design, requirements, validation, and verification tasks for MH-60M and MH-47G cockpit avionics systems.
• Execute platform systems-specific, on-site requirements-based testing, robustness testing, and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment, with schedule flexibility during formal test phases.
• Support cross-functional team development with external customer stakeholders and internal software and hardware engineering teams across different Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) builds.
• Utilize various engineering tools including TNT, DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft products, SVN, and others.
• Perform investigations of Collins Aerospace lab hardware and environment, including integration investigations of interfaces between Collins Aerospace equipment and government-furnished equipment.

Qualifications

• Required
  • Relevant avionics systems engineering job experience.
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Working knowledge and understanding of data busses and protocols (Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC-429).
• Preferred
  • Military avionics experience.
  • Experience with TNT, DOORS, PREP, JIRA, and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
