Job summary

K2 Space, located in Los Angeles, is seeking a skilled individual for avionics testing involving test hardware and software for satellite operations. You'll work closely with engineering teams to design solutions and ensure reliability and scalability for our Mega satellite constellation.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience. The role offers a competitive salary between $100,000 - $150,000 along with various benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with test hardware design and software management.
• Familiarity with SMC-S-016 or MIL-STD-810 testing methods.
• Experience with software-defined radio hardware development.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate test hardware and systems.
• Develop modular test automation software in Linux and Python.
• Lead satellite subsystem test campaigns.

Skills

Strong programming abilities (Python, C++, Rust)

Test hardware design experience

Experience with RF test equipment

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or relevant engineering discipline

Tools

Vector network analyzers (VNA)

Spectrum analyzer
