Latent AI is hiring a Test Engineer for Avionics at their Texas facility. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing test equipment and automation systems crucial for the production of aerospace vehicles. This highly multidisciplinary position will allow you to make impactful contributions towards ensuring every wire harness is defect-free.

You will work closely with engineering teams to define test methods and ensure quality and reliability while scaling operations to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in design, manufacturing, and/or production of mechanical, electrical, or fluids systems.
• 3+ years of professional experience in high-rate design and/or production of mechanical or electronics hardware systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production test equipment, test racks, and automation systems.
• Define and validate test methods to ensure harnesses meet reuse requirements.
• Scale test capacity and throughput for production rates.
