Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an F-16 Production Hangar Avionics Tech in Greenville, SC. The candidate will perform a variety of duties such as harness routing, crimping, soldering, and troubleshooting, while working from engineering drawings and instructions.

Experience with aircraft systems is required, particularly with C-130, along with the ability to work various shifts as needed. Tools are provided, and the role involves hands-on technical work in an aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Must have harness and wire routing experience.
• Must be able to pass crimping and soldering training.
• Experience working with C-130 aircraft is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform harness routing and build-up, crimping, and soldering.
• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and diagnose equipment.

Job description

F-16 Production Hangar Avionics Tech – Performs a variety of duties including harness routing, harness build‑up, crimping/terminating, and soldering. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts continuity testing and electrical system troubleshooting.

• Must have Harness, wire Routing experience
• Must be able to pass Crimping/Soldering training
• Must be able to work either 1st shift (6am‑4:30pm) or 2nd shift (4:30pm‑3am) Monday‑Thursday
• Aircraft Mod experience
• Routing experience
• Pinning/Terminating
• 1st shift, willing to work second as needed
• Avionics Mod Experience
• Aircraft Experience Is Required, C-130 Experience Is a Plus
• Wire routing and schematic reading experience required
• Tools are provided by program. No personal Tools required
