Job summary

Hillsboro Aviation, Inc. in Hillsboro, Oregon seeks an Avionics Technician to perform avionics tasks on jets, turboprops, and helicopters. You will report to the Avionics Manager and contribute to airworthiness and fleet readiness.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of avionics experience, Garmin know-how, and FAA credentials. Overtime and occasional field calls for AOG emergencies are required, with a Monday–Friday schedule at the shop.

Qualifications

• 3+ years avionics work on turboprops, jets, or turbine helicopters in GA setting.
• Experience with Garmin avionics equipment and new installations.
• Clean FAA record with primary customer base and documented checks.

Responsibilities

• Support Avionics Manager in Hillsboro Aviation’s Repair Station Manual tasks.
• Ensure airworthiness and availability of designated aircraft.
• Coordinate avionics logistics to minimize downtime.
• Maintain high standards of quality for shop environment, tools and records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
