Job summary

gpac is seeking an avionics technician to inspect, troubleshoot, install, test, and repair avionics systems in aircraft, including radar, navigation, and flight control components. You will work on cables, antennas, radios, and passenger entertainment systems, ensuring functionality before takeoff and maintaining meticulous records.

The ideal candidate has a degree in avionics or aviation technology or related certifications, with experience on mid-size private jets and knowledge of wiring

Qualifications

• A degree in avionics or aviation technology, or relevant certifications in electrical engineering or aviation maintenance.
• Experience with mid-size private jets is a plus.
• FAA or FCC licenses are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with electronic testing equipment and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, install, test, and repair avionics systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Work on communication, navigation, and flight control systems, contributing directly to the safety and efficiency of aircraft.
• Run cables, mount antennas, connect instruments, and install radios, autopilots, and passenger entertainment systems.
• Keep detailed records of all repairs and work performed on the aircraft, contributing to safety and accountability.
