Job summary

Air Aviation LLC is seeking experienced Avionics Technicians for an Airbus H125 program in Englewood, Colorado. You will install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify avionics and electrical systems on rotorcraft, following approved drawings and FAA procedures.

The position offers a 7 days on/7 days off schedule, 10-hour shifts, lodging provided, and pay at $45.00 per hour base with $67.50 per hour overtime; travel per diem up to $100 per eligible day.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years in avionics/electrical career field or 2 years schooling + 3 years related experience.
  • Associate degree in Aviation Electronics or related field is a plus.

  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Maintain required maintenance records and follow procedures and safety standards.

Job description

Air Aviation LLC is hiring experienced Avionics Technicians for an Airbus H125 aircraft program in Englewood, Colorado. We are looking for technicians with experience in aircraft avionics installation, modification, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Rotorcraft experience is preferred, and Airbus H125 experience is highly desirable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Avionics Technician will install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft avionics and electrical systems, including aircraft wiring, connectors, components, and related equipment. Work will be performed in accordance with approved drawings, technical data, maintenance manuals, and established procedures. Responsibilities include diagnosing avionics and electrical discrepancies using appropriate test equipment; reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, and technical publications; accurately documenting completed work and maintaining required maintenance records; and adhering to all company, FAA, safety, and quality-control requirements. The technician will also collaborate with supervisors, inspectors, engineers, and other technicians to complete assigned work.

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Five (5) years' experience in an avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and three (3) years of related experience.
  • Associate degree in Aviation Electronics or related field a plus.
  • A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
  • Proficiency with a variety of tools and test equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • Must comply with all Client Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications

  • Airbus H125 experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience with avionics installation, maintenance, modification, or troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Ability to use standard avionics tools and electrical test equipment.
  • Must be available to work the full 7-day rotation in Englewood, Colorado.
  • Must successfully complete all required employment screening, including an FAA/DOT-compliant drug screening for a safety-sensitive position.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Schedule

7 days on / 7 days off

10 hours per scheduled day

Approximately 70 hours per work rotation

Overtime paid in accordance with applicable wage-and-hour requirements

Compensation

Taxable base wage: $45.00 per hour

Overtime rate: $67.50 per hour

Per diem: Up to $100 per eligible travel day

Lodging: Provided

Per diem is subject to assignment eligibility, travel status, and Air Aviation’s applicable reimbursement requirements.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in and around aircraft for extended periods.

Ability to safely use hand tools and avionics test equipment.

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
