Job description

AirQuest Aviation is seeking a full‑time Avionics Technician for their Butler County location. The position works Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities

Perform operational checks, troubleshooting, and repairs of avionics and electrical systems on general aviation aircraft.

Skills and Abilities

• Understand manufacturer installation specifications and maintenance manuals relevant to the assignment.
• Fabricate and install wiring assemblies, static lines, and associated mechanical equipment per drawings.
• Have own working tools.
• Preferred experience with piston, turboprop, and light jet aircraft.
• Familiarity with installing and troubleshooting general aviation equipment from manufacturers such as Garmin, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, Avidyne, and Aspen.
• Read, write, and understand the English language.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years in avionics.
• Two or more years installing and troubleshooting Garmin equipment.
• Prior experience performing FAR 91.411 and 91.413 (24‑month) inspections.
