RLC, LLC is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to support our fleet of offshore helicopters. The position is based in Broussard LA but will involve travel to our airbases along the Gulf Coast. The schedule is 14/14.
Working with or without supervision in performing tests and repairs, navigation, auto pilot, compass, radio transmitting and receiving components in accordance with diagrams, manufacturers specifications, FAR’s and FAR 145 Repair Station Manuals, using electrical measuring instruments, wiring diagrams and hand tools. All work performed will consistently comply with company policy and procedures.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience on Bell 206, 407 Series aircraftand a working knowledge of the S-76 Series model aircraft.
Maintain a current and valid Airframe and Power plant Certificate from the FAA. Maintain a valid motor vehicle driver’s license.
May be required to work at locations other than assigned base including overnight travel offshore.
