Job summary

Gravitics is seeking an Avionics Integration & Test Engineer to lead assembly, integration, and verification of avionics and power systems for large space structures. You’ll work with Avionics, Software, and Manufacturing teams to bring systems up safely and to mission requirements.

This role combines hands-on build-floor work with development of electrical test procedures, system checkouts, and integrated operations from early integration through environmental qualification and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in integration, test, or systems-focused engineering with a strong electrical focus.
• Ability to write and execute electrical test procedures for subsystems and systems.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Own HITL and EGSE test system design, build, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute electrical tests for avionics, power systems, and assemblies.
• Perform end-to-end electrical integration and telemetry evaluation.
• Conduct functional checkouts including power sequencing and system operations.
• Troubleshoot off-nominal electrical behavior in flight hardware and EGSE.
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and ICDs; support TRRs and test reviews.
• Ensure safety, configuration control, and quality in hardware integration.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, design, quality, and operations during handoffs.
• Drive continuous improvement of integration processes and documentation.
