CAE is seeking an experienced electronics technician to support Edwards AFB flight simulator equipment. The role involves calibrating, maintaining, and repairing complex simulator systems and supporting equipment to ensure mission readiness for government contracts.
Applicants must meet DoD clearance requirements, possess related electronics training or degree, and have 2–5 years of hands-on experience with high-technology simulation devices in a defense environment.

Perform a variety of duties on integrated multi-computer systems, video generation and display systems, complex digital interfaces, high density cable/plug repair, software maintenance, and comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of general training device peripheral systems, in support of a F16 Flight Simulators located at Edwards AFB, CA to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Position requires a TOP SECRET Clearance that is currently in-scope or under continuous evaluation.

Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Incumbent must be able to obtain required program access for the Edwards AFB site. Must possess current CompTIA Security+ Certification.

Will be working in areas with risk of electrical shock from electronically moving mechanical parts.
Will at times be exposed to the following conditions: Cold, heat, airborne particles, loud noises.
