Blue Origin is seeking an Operations Integrator for the New Glenn launch vehicle, focusing on Avionics systems oversight from development through operations. You will define operational constraints and collaborate with various teams to ensure safe and successful launches.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in Engineering and 5+ years of experience in Avionics operations. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), and stock options.
At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low‑cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single‑configuration, heavy‑lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low‑Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human‑capable.
As a small team of passionate experts, each member has full ownership over the operations of their respective domains. We are looking to hire an operations integrator who can take ownership of defining and enforcing the operation of the Avionics systems on New Glenn, from CONOPS to functional architecture, components, and software. The role will follow the development of hardware, autonomous software, and testing, and will be accountable for feeding lessons learned into coordinated operation of the subsystem on the flight vehicle. The successful candidate will build a comprehensive set of constraints, alerts, and limits for the New Glenn operations teams, and will collaborate with stage‑level leads.
