As an Avionics Obsolescence Engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to designing and integrating missile systems. We’re looking for an avionics engineer who can use their skills to manage the acquisition Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process in support of complex control systems. At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform Mission Systems requirements to improve missile performance. Our team supports Mission Systems in working with OEMs to improve performance and integrate advanced technologies into existing platforms. That’s why we need you, an avionics engineer well versed in control systems, to help us design and develop future technologies within the avionics discipline. You’ll work with existing teams to understand the current challenges and work with OEMs to redesign, develop, and integrate upgrades to improve the warfighters' competitive edge. You will assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to better system performance. This is a chance to use your electrical engineering skills while gaining experience in the avionics discipline to sharpen your skills while doing meaningful work. Top Secret clearance Master's degree in an Engineering or Science field. Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Salary range: $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
