Tundra Technical Solutions is recruiting for a KC-46 Mission Systems Avionics Engineer contract role in Everett, WA or Tukwila, WA. You will support engineering design, integration, test, certification, and hardware/software management for mission avionics sub-systems on the KC-46 program.

The position requires a Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field, 3+ years of engineering experience, and familiarity with communication systems, troubleshooting, RF, and networking. Onsite only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with communication systems, FAA or military.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, analysis, testing and certification of mission avionics systems.
• Assist in defining system-level requirements and test plans.
• Coordinate hardware/software integration and critical tests.
• Provide technical management with suppliers and software teams throughout lifecycle.
• Support FAA, military certification and airworthiness activities.
• Conduct RCCAs and troubleshoot production aircraft issues.
