Job summary

Hermeus is seeking an Avionics Manufacturing Engineer in Atlanta to guide the transition of avionics hardware from design to high-rate production. You will lead improvement projects, work with engineering and technicians, and contribute to manufacturability and testability while implementing tooling for high-quality hardware.

Required: a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering and 2+ years in electronics hardware design/production, with PCB fabrication and ERP experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
2+ years of experience in design and/or production of electronics hardware systems.
Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and subassemblies.
End-to-end PCB fabrication experience.
Experience with high power electronics and/or motor drivers.
Ability to transition products from design to manufacturing within a cross-functional team.
Strong communication and ability to read technical documents.

Responsibilities

Lead improvement projects to meet safety, reliability and process capability goals.
Bridge engineering and technician teams to ensure smooth production transitions.
Contribute to design for manufacturability and testability and assist with RFQ reviews.
Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions across manufacturing.
Develop tooling and test solutions to enable high-quality hardware.
Prepare documentation for transition from development to production.
