Position Overview

The Senior Avionics Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the avionics installation operations. This includes managing the technical team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving the strategic growth of our avionics division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in avionics, leadership experience, and a passion for innovation in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the avionics installation team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality installations and compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Oversee project management, from initial customer consultation through installation and final testing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of avionics systems with other aircraft modifications.
  • Manage budgets, allocate resources, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, customers, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Avionics, Electrical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in avionics installation or maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FAA regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
