Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace seeks an Avionics Installer III to lead technicians in installing, wiring, and testing avionics systems on our aircraft. You will fabricate wire harnesses, install components, ring-out systems, and assist in functional tests to ensure quality and on-time delivery on the first shift.

Required: High School Diploma or GED, plus two years aviation electronics schooling and one year related work, or three years in avionics. Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2 years aviation electronics schooling and 1 year related work, or 3 years in avionics/electronic field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provides work direction to technicians and coordinates with other departments for on-time delivery.
• Installs/modifies/fabricates wiring and electrical components per blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Trains team members and contributes to development of techniques.
• Assists Engineering in resolving problems and repairs per direction.
• Maintains required logs and records.
• Ensures work meets regulatory requirements and customer specs.
• Enforces safety programs and checks for defect-free assemblies.
