Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Integration Engineer III to join the Lunar Permanence team in the Greater Seattle area. You will lead cross-functional studies, define interfaces, and manage avionics requirements for the Crewed Lander within the HLS program.

You will work with NASA and national partners, applying systems engineering practices to deliver reliable, safe, and integrated spacecraft subsystems. Relocation assistance and travel up to 25% are available.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years in full life cycle avionics development (requirements, design, integration, test, operations).
• Experience integrating spacecraft subsystems (avionics, software, structures, GNC, power).
• Knowledge of time-sensitive networks like TSN or ARINC 664 and time-triggered Ethernet.
• Ability to define and manage communication protocols; strong engineering rigor.

• Act as negotiator among stakeholders to optimize spacecraft design.
• Lead avionics architecture studies, verification planning, and integration.
• Manage avionics requirements development and ICDs.
• Develop and maintain data/communication budgets and electrical architecture diagrams.

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin’s Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.As part of a hardworking team you will work as an Avionics Integrator within the Avionics team on the Crewed Lander, focusing on the integration of one or more spacecraft subsystems. You will lead cross-functional trade studies, run integrated analyses, and define interfaces that impact the design and integration of the spacecraft. You should expect that this foundational part of our vision will require your excellent communication and teamwork. You will work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of the Human Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program.
