Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years accredited schooling in aviation electronics or two years related avionics/electrical experience.
• Avionics certificate with one year related work experience acceptable.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and general software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components from blueprints and drawings.
• Fabricate wire harnesses and perform terminations, testing, and functional checks of avionics/electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams to ensure precise assembly.
• Maintain logs, records, and documentation for compliance.
• Ensure work meets regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
• Inspect completed assemblies for defect-free workmanship prior to inspection.
• Support safety initiatives including FOD prevention and tool control.
• Keep work area clean and organized and participate in Kaizen/process improvement activities.
