Job summary

TechDoQuest seeks an Avionics Integration Engineer in Fort Worth, TX to develop and manage the integration and test requirements for military upgrade programs. You will coordinate with internal teams and external customers to ensure compliance with performance targets and standards.

The role requires strong communication, oversight of subcontractors, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. A STEM degree and avionics experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance and oversight of subcontractors to verify performance, cost, and schedule requirements are met.
• Works closely with the Business Development organization to propose technical solutions to support new business opportunities.

Job Description:

The Avionics Integration Engineer will be responsible for developing, managing, and communicating the integration & test requirements for military upgrade development programs to internal and external customers.

Qualifications/Skills:

Requires integration experience with one or more of the following systems:

• Prefer experience with AC and DC Aircraft Power System integration
• Experience with qualifications to standards such as RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-1760, MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-464
• Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate across multiple internal and external organizations.
• Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.
• PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
• Must have the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
• Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred; bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline required.
