Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to investigate, design, develop, implement, test, and analyze embedded software for avionics systems.
• Maintain and improve embedded software in Linux environments and manage software integration.
• Decompose system requirements into software requirements and tests, using DOORS for traceability.
• Plan and support software integration projects to meet customer and program requirements.
• Identify design improvements and opportunities for capability enhancements in weapon systems.
• Communicate requirements effectively to internal and external customers.
