Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. seeks an Electronic Technician for our Rancho Bernardo, CA facility to support the Avionics Development Center on a 12-month contract.

The position emphasizes assembling, testing, and maintaining electronic systems with a focus on fault isolation at the component level. The ideal candidate will read drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics; have experience with ESD/FOD controls; and be proficient with oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF generators, and spectrum

Qualifications

• Able to read drawings / wiring diagrams, previous government experience, experience with ESD (electrostatic discharge) and FOD (foreign object damage) control. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electronic systems, components, and equipment. Diagnose and repair circuit boards, wiring, and other electronic components. Perform operational tests at environmental stress screening, vibration, and thermal levels to ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Identify and isolate malfunctions down to the component level. Conduct defined engineering tests and collect assigned data.
• Document test results, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Perform diagnostics and root cause analysis using oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF generators, and spectrum analyzers.
• Maintain compliance with all NGC CAT 2 Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) safety, quality, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standards.
