Job summary

AVTECH Global is looking for an Avionics/Electrical Tech in Savannah, Georgia. This full-time contract position offers a pay rate of $25.66 to $37.86 per hour depending on experience. Key responsibilities include assisting in avionics testing and repairs, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, and documenting all work thoroughly. Candidates should have a high school diploma, relevant aviation experience, and preferably an A&P or FCC license. Additional benefits include medical coverage and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience ranges from two to six years in avionics/electrical career fields or accredited schooling in aviation electronics.
• A&P license or FCC license is highly preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists and performs tests and repairs of avionics/electronic systems.
• Installs and tests electrical/avionics components under supervision.
• Documents all work performed on the aircraft for inspection.

Skills

Basic technical skills in avionics

Ability to read blueprints and diagrams

Demonstrates troubleshooting techniques

Education

High School diploma/GED

A&P license or FCC license
