Job summary

Greenfield Engineering is seeking a Data Integrity Engineer in Patuxent River, MD who will support the analysis of avionics software and data systems. This full-time position involves performing technical analysis of software performance and ensuring data integrity across various aviation platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field along with 3-7 years of relevant experience. Strong programming skills and understanding of avionics principles are preferred. Benefits include a comprehensive health care plan and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years relevant experience in software development or systems engineering.
• Ability to analyze technical problems and interpret data outputs independently.
• Ability to function effectively in a team-based engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze avionics software systems for data integrity and correctness.
• Support certification and compliance for avionics systems.
• Develop technical documentation, including test plans and compliance artifacts.

Skills

Software engineering fundamentals (data structures, logical design)

Experience with high-level programming languages (Python, Java, C++)

Technical writing and communication skills

Understanding of avionics systems or aerospace principles

Experience in software development

Education
