Job summary

Delta Air Lines seeks an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to support TechOps by maintaining avionics/electronic components and ensuring the fleet’s safe operation for a premium travel experience.

The role involves bench repair, documentation duties, and strict adherence to Delta policies, with emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork to keep the fleet ready for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes English; comprehends technical manuals.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of bench avionics/electronics repair experience or 21 months of training.
• Must meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass Avionics Evaluation Test; IPC-7711/7721 soldering certification within 12 months.
• FAA drug test required for safety-sensitive positions.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, inspection, test, and repair of avionics/electronic components in a bench repair environment.
• Performs component-level repairs (transistor, resistor, capacitor, etc.).
• Maintains documentation for records, parts tracking, and cost recording.
• Adheres to Delta policies and safety standards.
• Maintains a safe, clean, compliant work environment and follows safety processes.
