Air Methods Corporation seeks an avionics technician to perform continuity and power/ground checks, configure avionics and medical equipment, and conduct post-installation system checks. You will troubleshoot complex discrepancies and operate various avionics test devices while guiding a team to meet safety and quality standards.
The role requires reading drawings, reviewing regulatory requirements, and coordinating with engineering and production control.
Job Summary
Responsible to perform continuity and power and ground checks for post installation wiring accuracy. Perform configurations and calibration of avionics and medical equipment. Perform post installation system operational checks. Be able to perform complex troubleshooting and repair discrepancies. Operate multiple types of avionics test equipment. Maintain work orders and direct personnel for job assignments.
