KAIROS, Inc. is seeking an Automated Test Equipment Systems Engineer, Journeyman, to support the Common Aviation Support Equipment Program Office (PMA-260) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD.

This on-site role requires strong systems engineering skills, aviation electronics knowledge, and the ability to work across disciplines to deliver reliable support equipment. The ideal candidate has experience in avionics test equipment, develops requirements, and ensures integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field required.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience required.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform as avionics support equipment systems engineer within PMA-260.
• Develop requirements, technical planning, and coordination for ATS/AV equipment.
• Ensure maintainability, reliability, safety, and operational readiness of systems.
• Incorporate diagnostics, testability, and supportability into avionics designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in continuous improvement.
